Chandigarh: Haryana unit of the National Informatics Centre (NIC) would develop a software to remove duplicate entries from electoral rolls.
Haryana State Election Commissioner Rajeev Sharma, who held a meeting with officers of the NIC today regarding preparation of electoral rolls of Municipalities and Panchayati Raj Institutions, had emphasised the need for such a software.
Mr Sharma appreciated the entire team of the NIC for preparation of electoral rolls and conducting the recent general elections of Municipalities.
