Gaza City, Mar 18,2025: The death toll from the Israeli strike on Gaza has risen to at least 342 people, including women and children, while hundreds others have been injured, reports says.
Tuesday’s attack took place across Gaza, including in Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza, Gaza City in the north, and central areas like Deir el-Balah.
Many of those killed in the attacks were children, Gaza’s Ministry of Health said.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that it was carrying out massive airstrikes on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.
Axios political reporter Barak Ravid said, citing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, that the Jewish state had decided to resume military operations against Hamas after the movement rejected US proposals for a ceasefire.
