Indonesia hands G20 presidency to India

g 20 presNUSA DUA, Indonesia, Nov 16,2022: Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Wednesday officially handed over the G20 presidency to India at the end of a summit of the bloc’s leaders in Bali.

The Group of 20 major economies adopted a joint leaders’ declaration and produced other partnerships, Jokowi, as the president is known, said.
In a session on digital transformation, the prime minister said the principle of “data for development” will be an integral part of the overall theme of India’s upcoming G-20 Presidency.
India will assume G20 Presidency for one year, beginning December 1, 2022.
