Bhopal,April 28,2022: The Congress high command on Thursday accepted erstwhile chief minister Kamal Nath’s resignation – from the post of Leader of the Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly – and passed on the mantle to seven-time MLA Govind Singh who represents Bhind district’s Lahar. A communication from party General Secretary KC Venugopal confirmed both vital political developments. Mr Kamal Nath will continue in his capacity as Congress state President. Dr G Singh served as minister in both the Digvijaya Singh and Kamal Nath dispensations.
