JD(U) expels Prashant Kishor, Pawan Varma

Jan29,2020:The Janata Dal (United) on Wednesday expelled party national vice-president Prashant Kishor and national general secretary Pawan Varma from its primary membership and other positions with immediate effect.

Soon both the leaders wished JD(U) president Nitish Kumar to “retain the chair of Chief Minister of Bihar at any cost”.

A day after Mr. Kumar said, “It’s okay if he [Kishor] stays or goes from the party”, JD(U) principal general secretary K C Tyagi on Wednesday issued a press release, which said that both Mr. Kishor and Mr. Varma have been expelled from the primary membership of the party for working and issuing statements against it and its chief.
