New Delhi, Jan 26: Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi on Friday constituted a new five judge bench to hear the sensitive Ayodhya Ram temple land dispute case.
The Top Court’s five-judge bench would be headed by, CJI Ranjan Gogoi.
The bench was reconstituted after one of the judges in the bench, Justice UU Lalit recused himself from hearing the case during the last hearing on January 10.
Besides the CJI, other four judges of the new bench are Justices SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer.
The case will come up for hearing on January 29.
