Jammu, Nov 22: Against the backdrop of NC, PDP and Congress staking claim to form government, Governor Satya Pal Malik in a major development on Wednesday dissolved Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
“The Governor in exercise of his powers, this evening dissolved the Legislative Assembly,” official sources here said.
Meanwhile NC, Congress and PDP have decided to stage protest against J&K Governor for dissolving the Assembly.
