New Delhi/Pune, June 7: Khadakwasla-based National Defence Academy (NDA) on Wednesday said necessary actions were at hand and due procedures will follow in connection with alleged irregularities in the selection and appointment at different posts of teaching faculty in the Academy.
Pune Defence PRO Mahesh Iyengar admitted that the NDA was apprised of the allegations by the CBI team on their arrival on Wednesday. They had relevant documents authorizing the procedure for necessary investigation.
“Necessary actions are at hand and due procedures will follow,” he said.
Earlier, the Central Bureau of Investigation registered a case under different sections of IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act against the Principal of NDA; four professors and others in the case.
The CBI had said the searches were conducted on Wednesday at the premises including Office, residential premises of accused in Pune.
