TRS, Shiv Sena MPs demand ‘GST dues’ for states

GST-3New Delhi, Dec 11: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) and Shiv Sena members on Wednesday raised the issue of ‘GST dues’ for the states in Lok Sabha and urged Speaker Om Birla to allow them to speak on this.
Members were up on their feet raising placards and raising slogans from the start of the Question Hour but the Speaker ruled that he would allow them to ventilate their opinion on the subject during Zero Hour.
Among others Nama Nageswara Rao (TRS) and Shiv Sena MPs Arvind Sawant and Vinayak Raut were up on their feet trying to seek chair’s attention.
DMK members led by T R Ballu and Congress floor leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also tried to say something but nothing could be heard in the din as the Speaker said that the House would go ahead with the Question Time.
At one time, Trinamool Congress floor leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay was seen trying to make a point.
Opposition members raised slogans ‘We Want Justice’ but at the request of the chair later took their seats and the House went ahead with the Question Hour.
