Islamabad, Jan 17 : Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has ruled out the prospects of war with India and said both the countries should avoid escalation.
Pakistan has never indulged in unilateral actions and always stood for dialogue but it should be based on respect and without compromising on the core issue Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Abbasi said responding to a question in an interview with a private television channel here.
When asked about Indian Army chief’s recent statement about Pakistan, the Prime Minister said India might have several objectives, but it should realise the situation along the Line of Control, a report in Radio Pakistan said on Wednesday.
