New Delhi, Jan 17: The producer of the controversial Hindi film ‘Padmavat’ on Wednesday approached the Supreme Court against the film not being released or screened in certain states.
The three-judge bench, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra and also comprising Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud, said, ‘We would hear the matter.’
The matter was mentioned before the apex court bench by Advocate Mahesh Aggarwal, appearing for the producer of ‘Padmavat’.
