P V Sindhu continued her stellar run in the Malaysia Masters Grand Prix title, winning the title for the second time in her career with a comprehensive 21-15, 21-9 win over Scotland’s Kirsty Gilmour. This is Sindhu’s fifth Grand Prix Gold title.
Without breaking a sweat, the third-seeded Indian wrapped up proceedings in 32 minutes. It has to be rated as one of her most clinical performances over the years, even though she was up against an unseeded opponent.
