New Delhi, Dec 10 : Stating that a ban on alcohol will be the biggest sign of “communal harmony”, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday advocated for a nationwide ban.
After the ban there has been decrease in number of patients suffering from kidney, liver and neuro-related diseases, Mr Kumar said while addressing party workers of Delhi here.
“Within a year of ban on alcohol of Bihar, the number of patients with kidney and liver diseases had come down by 39 percent and those with neuro-related diseases the number has fallen by 44 percent,” he said.
