Lodha panel submitted status report to the apex court of the country seeking SC nod to remove all BCCI office bearers from their post for failing to implement its recommendations.
The panel recommended that GK Pillai, former Union Home Secretary be appointed appointed as an observer to oversee the administration of the cricket board. The committee also wanted SC nod to empower the observer to appoint secretarial staff, assistance and fix remuneration.
The BCCI-Lodha tussle has been going on for a long time with the cricket board of the country reluctant to implement most of the recommendations of the Supreme Court-appointed panel.
