The Olympic flag is officially handed over to Japan, and an official video of Tokyo’s bid is shown as Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe made an appearance. Japanese athletes carried flags of Japan as well as Brazil to signify the handover of the Olympics between the two nations.
