New Delhi, Mar 3,2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held separate telephonic conversations with the leaders of Qatar, Kuwait and Oman, reiterating India’s strong condemnation of any violation of their sovereignty and territorial integrity and underscoring the urgent need for dialogue and diplomacy to restore peace in West Asia.
In posts on X, the Prime Minister said he spoke with the Amir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, expressing firm solidarity with the Gulf nation.
He also conveyed appreciation for the Qatari leadership’s continued support and care for the Indian community residing in the country during what he described as a challenging period.
In a separate outreach, Prime Minister Modi spoke with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, reaffirming India’s support for Kuwait.
