
Pulled out with rope
“As the women screamed, the lion changed its route and accidentally fell into the well. After getting information, forest officials rushed to the spot and rescued it using a thick rope nearly after four hours,” he said.
“Initially, a veterinary team entered the well to find out whether the lion has sustained any injuries. After, it was found that the animal did not suffer any injuries, he was pulled out,” the officer said.
According to the officer, the forest officials did not tranquillise the lion to pull him out from the well since the maximum temperature in the district was 43 degrees Celsius.
