NEW DELHI : Gautam H Bambawale, presently Ambassador of lndia to Bhutan, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of lndia to Pakistan. Bambawale will replace TCA Raghavan as the next High Commissioner of lndia to Pakistan. He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
Bambawale is an expert on China. In the past, Bambawale has worked in Germany, US and China. He became the first Consul General of India in Guangzhou, China, in 2007.
