Jan30,2022:Inspector General Of police Kashmir range Vijay Kumar on Sunday said that five militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad and.Liashkar-e- Toiba militant outfits were killed in dual encounters in last 12 hours in Kashmir.
He said that four Jaish-e-Mohammad militants including a top commander Zahid Wani of Kareemabad Pulwama and a foreigner were killed in Naira Pulwama while a militant affiliated with Lashker-e-Toiba was killed in Charar-e-Shareef area of Budgam.
He said that Jaish-e-Mohammad commander Zahid Wani and a foreigner is among slain which is big success for security forces.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir said that besides top commander Zahid Wani, a Pakistani militant identifying him as Kafeel @Chotu was killed in Pulwama Gunfight. Both were affiliated with JeM.
Kafeel was active since 2020 in Pulwama-Shopian Belt, the top police officer added.

Arms and ammunition were recovered from the site of the encounter, IGP said.
Notably, an encounter broke out in Naira Pulwama on Saturday evening while as encounter broke out in Charar-e-Shareef area of Budgam late Saturday night.
