Lalitpur, Oct 29,2021: Congress general secretary and in charge of Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Lalitpur by train on Friday morning to meet the families of the farmers who died due to fertilizer shortage.
Ms Vadra, for a change took a train from Lucknow to reach Lalitpur on Friday morning.
Party sources here said that Ms Vadra reached Lalitpur in the morning and after resting for a while she will go to the villages to meet the families of the farmers, who died due to fertilizer shortage.
The Congress alleged that there is a severe shortage of fertilizers in the entire Bundelkhand including Lalitpur.
Many farmers died due to shortage of fertilizers including one farmer who committed suicide and another farmer died while standing in queue for fertilizer in Lalitpur.
