New Delhi,Feb 5,2020: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday made a suo motu statement in Lok Sabha and informed the House that the union cabinet has given its nod to set up the Trust that will work for construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya. Mr Modi said that a Trust has been formed and it is called Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerath Kshetra.
The trust was to be formed in line with the verdict of the Supreme Court of India.
The cabinet took the decision in its meeting on Wednesday morning.
“These are in line with the verdict of the Honourable Supreme Court of India,” he said adding decision has been to also allocate its share of the land to the Sunni Waqf Board.
“A request has been made to the UP government on this, and the state government has also agreed to honour the same,” Prime Minister said.
