Hemant Soren has met the Jharkhand governor and staked claim to form the government after sweeping the Jharkhand assembly elections and defeating Bharatiya Janata Party.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Hemant Soren said he will take oath as chief minister on December 29 at 1 pm.
Hemant Soren was on Tuesday formally elected as the JMM legislature party leader, following which he staked claim to form the government in alliance with Congress and RJD.
