New Delhi, Oct 25 : India will get its first Artificial Intelligence at an affordable cost said Mukesh Ambani on the inaugural ceremony the second edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2018 on Thursday.
Ambani said ” India ranks first in mobile internet penetration and now it will get its first Artificial intelligence at a cost of Rs 100 per month’.
” I am excited about the progress and prospect of bringing the digital media to the agricultural sector’, he further said.
The three- day event will bring together global professionals from across the digital ecosystem , encompassing 5G , internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence, smart cities ,start ups in the technology space, and allied industry sectors.
The theme of the technology mega event is ‘New Digital Horizons : Connect , create , innovate’.
The IMC 2018 was inaugurated by Mr Manoj Sinha, Minister Of State(Independent Charge) for Communications and Minister of State for Railways.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr Suresh Prabhu Minister of Commerce and Industry, Aruna Sudaranjan,Secretary,Department of Telecommunications(DoT) and Chairperson, Telecom Commission , Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs,Sunil Bharti MIttal, Chairman Bharti Enterprises among other dignitaries.
The event will also host an ASEAN(Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and BIMSTEC(Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) , where the policy makers and regulators of partner countries will share their views and experiences.
Live demonstrations of the 5G, machine to machine communication, IoT and other technologies were demonstrated at the event.
The technology mega event will be held till October 27,2018.
