New Delhi, Oct 16: Sounding the poll bugle for 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Monday launched a scathing attack at the BJP, saying his party runs from donations received from the common man not from corrupt millionaires.
‘Everyone know that AAP run by donations received from common people. All the elections we fought so far is from their donations. We don’t take donation from the corrupt millionaires,’ Mr Kejriwal said while addressing the ‘AAP Pradesh Padadhikari Sammelan’ here.

Attacking the BJP ruled state Governments, Mr Kejriwal said, ‘In Madhya Pradesh, since 15 years there is BJP government, for 20 to 25 years in Gujarat, in Chhattisgarh for over 10 years. But despite of that these Governments could not even improve the condition of school, hospital, electricity but the AAP Government has done it only within three and half years.’
Mr Kejriwal also asked the Opposition Congress what they had done in their 60 years of tenure in the country.
‘If you meet someone from Congress ask them your party have ruled for 60 years and could not even improve the condition of hospitals. But AAP government has done it,’ he told the party workers.
Talking about the ‘Aap ka dan, Rashtra ka nirman’ which was launched along with a mobile number- 9871010101 under which one can give missed call to give donation to the party, before his address to the party workers, Mr Kejriwal said, AAP in a systematic manner by filling the form is starting to take donation from them every month. I feel this would become a model worldwide like Mohalla Clinic and Home delivery services.’
On this occasion, the AAP convenor also announced to donate an amount of Rs 10000 on regular basis to the party, his father Rs 500, wife and daughter Rs 5000 each.
