India beat Windies by 10 Wickets to sweep series 2-0

Hyderabad, Oct 14 : India crushed West Indies by 10 wickets in the second and final test at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium at Uppal here on Sunday to complete a 2-0 series whitewash.
Indian speedster Umesh Yadav again led from the front to wreak havoc in the West Indies battling line up claiming four wickets in the second innings after his career best six wickets haul in the first innings, and ensured West Indies being bowled out for a paltry score of 127 in 46.1 overs in their second innings.
Chasing a target of 72 runs, Indian openers Prithvi Shaw and KL Rahul scored 33 runs each to guide India to a thumping 10-wicket win in just three days.
Earlier, India, which resumed at overnight score of 308/4 was all out for 367 thanks to the excellent bowling figures of West Indies skipper Jason Holder 5/56, though India managed to secure a lead of 56 runs over West Indies in the first innings.
Young wicket keeper batsman Rishabh Pant (92) and Ajinkya Rahane (80) missed out on scoring their centuries. This was the second occasion for Pant, who again missed out an opportunity to achieve the triple figure after getting out for 92 in the first test match against the Windies in Rajkot.
