Jakarta, Aug 30: India’s Arpinder Singh Singh clinched gold in Men’s Triple Jump giving India their 10th gold on day 11 of the Asian Games and taking total medal tally to 53 at at the Asian Games here on Wednesday.
Arpinder Singh took home gold for the country finishing with yellow metal with 16.77m while silver was secured by Ruslan Kurbanov of Uzbekistan with his personal best of 16.62m and bronze went to Cao Shuo 16.56.
India have won gold in Triple Jump after 48 years, Mohinder Singh Gill had won the yellow metal way back in 1970 with 16-11m.
