Heat wave conditions in Delhi, max at 45 8 deg C

New Delhi, May 27 : Heat wave like conditions continued to prevail in the national capital, with the maximum temperature shooting at 45.8 degrees Celsius, five notches above the normal.

The weather office said the maximum temperature recorded at the Palam Observatory was 45.8 degree C.

However, the Safdarjung observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 44.2 degrees C, four notches above the season’s average.
